The Proprietors of the 2 El Tiempos are the Laurenzo family. Our mother and father (and grandmother, grandfather and great grandmother and great grandfather) Domenic (Tommy) and Ninfa Laurenzo came to Houston in 1948 and started cooking almost immediately.
Our family´s desire is to continue that tradition as best we can and to provide you with a very delicious and memorable Mexican food experience in a unique, friendly, and fun atmosphere! El Tiempo is boisterous and busy. When the occasion calls for a grand old cackling laugh type of time, then we are your Huckleberry.
