Way back in 1965, Michael Griffin wanted to open a neighborhood bar. With his love of sports and sport fans and the wee bit O' Irish in him he created Griff's. Since then Griff's has become the oldest surviving sports bar in Houston, and the site of the largest St. Patrick's Day Festival in Texas. Though Michael has sold Griff's to a group of younger guys, you never know when he may be sitting at the bar.
Griff's is hands down the best sports bar in all of Houston!!! There is no better crowd to root for any of Houston's teams and they throw amazing parties for every other major sporting event. Everyone is a friend at Griff's!

Best St. Patrick's Day party, Best Steak Night, AWESOME owners, Fun Bartenders, Great music, Cool atmosphere in an Epic location. LOVE GRIFFS!!!!

Great hamburgers, great chicken salad - always hard to choose. I don't always do shots, but, when I do, it's at Griff's.
